The Harris County Justice of the Peace reported activity on the following cases during the week of Feb. 12-18:

A court rule for commitment was reported on March 28 in the case The State of Texas v. Marcus D Lafayette. The case was originally filed on Feb. 17.

The defendant was arrested on March 27 on charges of issuing a bad check, which allegedly occurred on Nov. 6.
