Lamar grad propels Blinn College to victory
Lamar alum Michaela Burton scored four three-pointers in the second half to help propel the Blinn College Lady Buccaneers to victory against Southwest Christian 81-51.
Brinn was behind 35-22 at the end of the first half and trailed by nine with eight minutes left in the game.
Burton, a freshman at Blinn College, scored a total of 18 points, with 12 coming in the second half. All 13 players on the Brinn roster managed to score points against Southwest Christian.
Blinn returns on Nov. 9 when it hosts McLennan College.
