Children's Museum of Houston to offer spring break getaway
The Children's Museum of Houston is celebrating spring break from March 10 to March 18 with "Destination Celebration," a week of hands-on activities, live performances and interactive shows.
"Game-Show Madness," "Mindset Mayhem" and "Boardwalk Bonanza" are among the games planned. Kids will also get the chance to roll in giant hamster balls and launch themselves on a bungee trampoline.
March 14 will be the museum's Pi Day. Pi, or 3.14 ..., is an infinite, nonrepeating number. The date also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday. There will be a pie fight at 1:59 p.m. (because the next numbers in the Pi series).
Doors open at 10 a.m. every day during Destination Celebration. The first 50 visitors will be draped with a beautiful welcome lei.
The Children's Museum is located at 1500 Binz St., in Houston.
